Multi-discipline Forecast and Warning Engineering System on Sediment-related Disasters
Yao Xuexiang,Xu Jing
Strategic Study of CAE 2004, Volume 6, Issue 6, Pages 9-14
Sediment-related disasters are caused by various factors. Most of the sediment-related disasters are induced by rainfall.Based on the regressive relationship between the disaster occurrence and rainfall, a meteorological-statisticalpotential forecast model for sediment-related disasters is developed as part of a joint project undertakenby China Meteorological Administration (CMA) and Ministry of Land and Resource ( MLR).
